Virginia Beach- Thomas Lewis entered into eternal life on April 24, 2023. He was born on October 18, 1966 to Mattie Walker & Rudolph Jones.

Thomas grew up in the Crestwood area where he attended Oscar Smith High School. He LOVED his Pittsburgh Steelers, Philadelphia 76ers and Georgia Tech. After working various jobs, he went to work at Colonnas Shipyard where he was employed for the past 24 years.

Thomas was loved by many and was a joy to be around. He ESPECIALLY loved being a grandfather and cherished his grandchildren and had a special bond with each one of them, as well as his many nieces and nephews. In 2003, Thomas met the love of his life, Stacey Gordon. They were married a year later on November 13, 2004.

Preceding Thomas in death is his parents, Mattie Walker Lewis and Rudolph Jones; his stepson, Travis Gordon; one sister, Harriet Augilar; three brothers: Joe Lewis, Bobby Jones and Rudolph Jones; two nieces: Taj Dixon and Almeita Thomas; two nephews: Glen Lewis and Michael Jones, Jr; and six aunts and eight uncles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife Stacey Gordon Lewis; two daughter; Latasha Boone and Angel Lewis; a grandaughter, Gabriella Williams; four grandsons: Dequan Boone, Christian Williams, Travis Gordon, Jr. and Amari Dixon; six sisters: Maryann Lewis, Lanore Whitfield-Hughley, Carolyn Ellis, Peggy White, Carletta Jones and Paula Jones; five brothers: Robert Lewis, John Lewis, Eugene Whitfield, Wayne Jones (Wanda) and Michael Jones; one aunt, Laura Bernard (William); and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family will be receiving family and friends 4-6pm Friday; May 5, 2023 at Fitchett-Mann Funeral Services Chapel; 1146 Rodgers St., Chesapeake, VA 23324. There will be no public viewing.
