Chesapeake-On Sunday; October 1, 2023, God dispatched his angel to bring his son, Georel E. Davis, to his heavenly home. Georel “Rel” Davis was born Juy 2, 1990 to Paula Davis and the late George Fuller, Jr. in Norfolk, VA.
Rell attended Chesapeake Public Schools and was a 2009 graduate of Oscar Smith High School. He cheerfully greeted everyone with open arms and a pleasant smile and loved spending time and having fun with family and friends. Rel recently reunited with his younger brother, Gerard, and moved to Jacksonville, FLorida where he was thriving and doing very well for himself. Life was great until his unexpeted death. While in Florida, he enjoyed getting to know and loving his nieces who named him “Goku”.
Georel was preceded in death by his father, George Fuller, Jr.; his maternal grandmother, Sylvia Davis; aunt, Lisa Davis; paternal grandmother, Betty Fuller Blackwell; paternal grandfather, George Fuller, Sr.; and maternal great grandmothees: Gladys Davis and Mary Diggs Hinton.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother Paula Davis; three brothers; Gerard Davis (Alexis), George McInnis and Daryl Williams; two nieces: Milani Davis and Emani Davis; maternal grandfather, Calvin Davis; paternal great grandmother, Mamie Fonville; two aunts: Sharon Fuller and Tyra Fuller; five uncles: George Harris, Maceo Harris, Eric Downs, Paul Fuller and Kevin Fuller; three special cousins/sisters: Shaylisa Davis, Lasharon Carter and Amirah Bell; two special friends: Tiffany Scott and Shakaylah Miller; and a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be 11:00 am Thursday; October 12, 2023 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church; Norfolk, VA. Viewing will be 4-6pm Wednesday at the funeral home. Please continue to pray for the family.
